18-karat gold Volkswagen Beetle
The Luxury Car Show held in Bucharest, Romania during last week-end is an auto show dedicated only to the luxury car makers. There’s no wonder why in only three days of show they sold cars valued at almost 7 million euro.
But this year next to makers like Mercedes, Bentley and Rolls Royce, Volkswagen brought a shiny Beetle, and we mean literally. The model was a 1968 and the company covered it in 18-karat gold.
The Beetle is already considered a golden car in automobile history, but this time Volkswagen decided to put the "golden" value in reality.
The car is priced at 60.000 euro, or $88,000. So, if you are a really jewelry lover and a Beetle fan this is the perfect solution for you. Or maybe a Christmas gift for your wife.
